Development Overview
Source Repository
Vidalia's source code and website are stored in a Subversion repository. See GettingTheCode to find out how to check out the latest Vidalia development snapshot or the source for previous releases, or to view our repository through your browser.
You can also view some recent commit statistics for our repository.
Code Documentation
We use Doxygen to generate our source code documentation. Documentation for the latest svn snapshot is available online and is updated nightly.
Mailing List
vidalia-svn is a mailing list for Vidalia commits, so developers can view recent changes to Vidalia. We also have a development timeline and an RSS feed that includes Vidalia commits, wiki edits, and recent bug reports.
Submitting Patches
If you have found and fixed a bug in Vidalia, cleaned up some part of our website, or updated a translation, please send us your diffs! Make sure your diffs are against the latest snapshot of our repository and then send them to the appropriate e-mail alias listed on our contact information page.
Contacting the Developers
You can e-mail the Vidalia developers directly at developers@…. You can also find us on IRC in #vidalia on irc.oftc.net, which is where most of our development discussion takes place.
