Description

Hi,

I use tor through Vidalia on Mac OS X.5. Is there a way to make tor keep on working even though Vidalia is closed ? Or even better, to make tor open at startup, without the need of Vidalia to be opened ?

Thanks.

Yes, you can install the non-bundle ("Expert") Tor package for OS X from Tor's website. It will install Tor and configure it to automatically start when your system boots. If you decide you still want Vidalia to be able to connect to the Tor that starts automatically, that's also easy to do.

And don't set the milestone.
