sorry but i don't think this is duplicate of #276 since that is for 0.0.12 and this is for 0.0.16.
windows xp pro sp2 vidalia 0.0.16 tor 0.1.2.18 tor running as nt service tor HashedControlPassword? used, vidalia ControlPassword? specified vidalia "start tor when vidalia starts" checked vidalia used by account in limited "Users" group, not administrator
start vidalia, icon changes green, cpu usage hits 100% within seconds. vidalia doesn't actually freeze, but takes 5-10 seconds to process each command. i wanted to debug it, and read the debugging instructions for windows. however, the debug build is version 0.0.15 and does not exhibit this behavior. after installing 0.0.15-dbg, it has been running for 30 minutes now and only used 19.5 seconds of cpu time....
