Vidalia crashed while Tor was downloading router descriptors

Reported by: vidalia Owned by: developer
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Vidalia Version: 0.0.13
Keywords: crash Cc:

Description

Vidalia just crashed on me, so I figured I should report it. Sorry I don't have more details.

Faulting application vidalia.exe, version 0.0.13.0, faulting module vidalia.exe, version 0.0.13.0, fault address 0x006f2502.

I wasn't using any Vidalia GUI windows at the time (it was just sitting in the system tray), nor was I browsing with Tor. I did notice that it happened while Tor was in the middle of downloading router descriptors (checked with packet sniffer).

Tor continued to work fine after Vidalia crashed, and Vidalia also worked fine after I restarted it.

Windows XP SP2
Vidalia 0.0.13
Tor 0.1.2.16 (NT service)

I take it this doesn't happen regularly? I wish Windows had some concept of core dumps (or does it?), because unfortunately it's pretty hard to debug this based that one error message.

I guess just let us know if it happens again or you can make it happen regularly. Then we can hopefully start to track this down.
